Terms of service
The service
Whendo, operated by CM Ventures Group LLC of Cadiz, Kentucky, responds by text message on behalf of participating local businesses to people who have called those businesses and not been answered. It relays the caller's replies to the business and the business's replies to the caller. These terms cover the public-facing text service. A participating business's relationship with us is governed by its separate client agreement.
Consent to receive texts
We send a first text only to a number that has placed a call to a participating business. By calling that business you consent to receive a text response from it through Whendo. By replying you consent to continue the conversation. We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we do not text numbers that have not contacted a participating business.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies by conversation and is typically a small number of messages per missed call. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that business through Whendo. You will receive one confirmation and nothing further unless you reply START. Reply HELP for assistance, or email support@whendohq.com.
Emergencies
Whendo is not an emergency service. If a message describes a gas leak, fire, electrical shock, flooding or another emergency, the reply will direct you to call 911 and will alert the business, but you should call 911 directly.
What the texts are
The first text is a short acknowledgment and one question about what you need. It does not quote prices, promise arrival times, or make commitments on the business's behalf. Anything the business agrees to with you happens in the business's own replies or by phone.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to harass, threaten, or send unlawful content to a business or its staff. We may block numbers that do.
Privacy

Disclaimer and limitation
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that every call will be answered by text or that every message will be delivered. To the extent permitted by law, CM Ventures Group LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
